Ida-Yee Koo, Executive Director

Ida has been described as a true professional and a great leader with a positive attitude. Ida has a passion for working with children, families and educators, and works hard to keep the staff motivated and to view themselves as professionals. Along with the day to day operations to run the program, Ida presents and shares best practices with educators and helps to ensure they have opportunities for professional development and training. She wants all educators to be proud of the work they do and realize how important their work is for the children and families.

Ida holds degrees in Early Childhood Development and Education, as well as Human Services and Psychology. She has been working with children and families for more than two decades, she served over thousands of children and families since 1998. She has been recognized by the Boston Association for Education of Young Children (BAEYC) and Boston Alliance for Early Education. She was honored to receive the Award for Leadership and Management at the 12th Annual Early Educators’ Awards Gala. Ida is Licensed as Director II, Director I, and Lead Teacher for Preschool, Toddler and Infant.

Layra Watson, Regional Director

Layra was born in Panama. She majored in Humanities Professor with a Specialization in Spanish from University of Panama. She also studied in Early Childhood Education and have over decade of experience working in Early Childhood Education field, from teacher, lead teacher, program coordinator and more. She chose an Early Childhood Education career because she loves to see how children develop their motor skills and intellectual abilities. Layra enjoys spending time with her family, going to movies, dancing and listening to music.

Our Teachers

Our program employs educated and caring teachers, who focus on their daily interaction with children through interesting, useful and meaningful topics, also provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem. Our teachers are dedicated to developing your child’s potential and are sensitive to your children’s individual needs.

All of our teachers are licensed by Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Our teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid as well as various aspects of early childhood development and education continually.
